In 2010, Theatre Nemo ran a several week programme called Routes to Work. The aim and objective of this project was to introduce and develop skills, with participants, that would help them seek emeployment. The 16 individuals involved in the project were young adults, aged between 19 and 25.
The main focus of the workshops was to develop the following skills with the participants: communication skills, self confidence, problem solving, researching skills, group-work skills, and the development of an idea.
Facilitators from Theatre Nemo introduced these skills via a series of workshops, featuring activities including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, gallery visits, CD cover design, and poster design.
